First of all, wash the chicken thoroughly with clean water. Now we will marinate the chicken, this will enhance the taste of Chilli Chicken. To marinate the chicken, we will take a vessel, and put the cleaned chicken in it.

After this, add a little curd, salt, red chilli, black pepper and mix it well in the chicken, and keep it separately for 2 hours.

While our chicken is marinating, we prepare our masala. For masala preparing, we will take a pan and put it on the gas and light the gas. When the pan becomes a little hot, then put oil in it, let me tell you that I use mustard oil to make chicken, which is also good for our health and it also makes good chicken.

Now we will allow the oil to heat a little on high flame, so that the smell of mustard oil that comes from it will go away. Now we will slow down the gas.

After that we add ginger garlic paste in our masala and fry it. After roasting a little, add finely chopped onions to it and roast it further, the more you roast the chicken masala, the more it will taste.

After roasting the onion, add salt, red chilli, Kashmiri chilli, chicken masala, coriander, and fry the spices well.

When the masala is fried a little, then add tomatoes to it, and fry it again, when the masala is fried well and the oil starts coming up, then put your marinated chicken in it, and mix it well in the spices and fry it. Fry the spices until the spices leave the oil well.

After this you put some water in it and roast it further. When the chicken starts cooking, add capsicum to it and fry it for another 5 minutes.

Your chicken is ready, but once you check the chicken whether it is cooked or not. For this, take out a piece of chicken and break it, if you feel that the chicken is cooked, then turn off the gas.

Special Tips

  • Don't add capsicum while roasting chicken, otherwise capsicum will melt, and capsicum will not taste at all. That's why add capsicum only 5 minutes before the chicken is cooked.
  • Do not forget to marinate the chicken, because if you marinate the chicken, then the spices that you applied on it will go inside the chicken, due to which the chicken will not be bland.
  • Note that spices like salt, red chili, black pepper, green chili etc. have to be added according to your taste.
