Dahi Suji ke Appe (Curd Semolina Appe), Homemade Snacks, mouthwatering on hearing the name. As you know that we Punjabis are very fond of food. We eat our Punjabi style food with great gusto. Apart from this, we also eat other style of food, one of them is South Indian. Although there are many recipes in South Indian food, but I like to make curd and semolina appe at home.
I definitely eat curd semolina appe in morning or evening breakfast, because firstly it is healthy and secondly it can be made very easily and in very less time. So, today I am going to tell you an easy method of making curd semolina appe.
Ingredients:
Semolina: 250 grams
Curd: 1 small bowl
Oil: 100 grams
Cumin
Mustard
Curry leaf
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Soda bottle
Carrot
Capsicum
Onion
Mushroom

Method for making Dahi Suji Appe:
Now we prepare the tempering to add to this mixture. For this, take a pan and put it on the gas and light the gas, now put some oil in it and let it heat up. After the oil is hot, add a little cumin, a little mustard and curry leaves and prepare the tadka masala. Note that the flame of the gas has to be kept low, otherwise the tadka will burn. When the tempering is ready, turn off the gas.
After 15 minutes, you will see that the semolina has puffed up in the mixture you made, now add the tadka masala prepared by you in this mixture and mix it well.
Now we will add salt according to taste, some sugar (it is not necessary to add sugar) and a little soda bottle in this mixture and mix it well. Adding soda bottle will make our appe puffy.
Note that the mixture should not be thin, so add soda bottle only so that the mixture remains thick. If you want, you can also add sweet soda instead of a soda bottle.
After this, we will put some finely chopped vegetables in this mixture. We will put carrots, capsicum, onions, mushrooms etc. according to our taste in the vegetables and mix them well. We can take any vegetable that we like, but make sure that the vegetable is quick-cooking and not a vegetable that takes a long time to cook. Now this mixture must be stirred well with a spoon and when you feel that the mixture has become thick then this mixture is ready to make appe.
Now we will put the appe prepared by us on the plate, but before that we will see whether it is ready to eat or not. For this we will take a toothpick and insert it into the appe, if nothing sticks to the toothpick then you will understand that our appe is ready.
Now we will take it out on a beautiful plate and make appe from the rest of the mixture.
We can eat the prepared appe anytime, if we eat it with sambar and coconut chutney then we will find the appe very tasty.

- You can add the quantity of ingredients as per your taste. If you use sour curd, then your appe will be good. Always light the gas on low flame only.
